Nash Families,
We are excited to welcome you to our Thanksgiving Lunch tomorrow, Tuesday, November 18th! Please check your child’s lunch time and plan accordingly.

To help everything run smoothly, please remember:

🔸 Payment is CASH or CHECK only.
🔸 Please arrive early so you have time to be checked in through the front office.
🔸 A valid photo ID is required for all visitors.
🔸 If you have not eaten lunch with your child yet this school year, please expect a longer check-in process.
🔸 If you have already eaten lunch with your child this year, you are pre-verified and may check in with your ID.

Lunch Schedule:
1st Grade: 10:15–10:55
2nd Grade: 11:00–11:40
3rd Grade: 11:45–12:20
4th Grade: 12:25–12:55
5th Grade: 1:00–1:30

¡Nos complace invitarlos a nuestro almuerzo de Acción de Gracias mañana, martes 18 de noviembre! Por favor, verifiquen el horario de almuerzo de sus hijos y planifiquen en consecuencia.

Para que todo funcione sin problemas, recuerden:

🔸 Solo se aceptan pagos en efectivo o cheque.

🔸 Les pedimos que lleguen con anticipación para registrarse en la recepción.

🔸 Se requiere una identificación con foto válida para todos los visitantes.

🔸 Si aún no han almorzado con sus hijos este año escolar, el proceso de registro será más largo.

🔸 Si ya han almorzado con sus hijos este año, su registro está verificado y pueden presentar su identificación.

⏰ Si ya almorzaron con nosotros este año, ¡ya están verificados! Solo traigan su identificación con foto el día del almuerzo de Acción de Gracias.

Completar la verificación con anticipación nos ayuda a agilizar el proceso de registro para que puedan disfrutar más tiempo del almuerzo con sus hijos. 💛

Forms have been sent home and must be returned by November 18th if your child plans to try out.

Honoring Our Heroes!
Nash Elementary students and staff are creating a Wall of Honor to celebrate the brave veterans in our lives — those who have served and sacrificed for our freedom. ❤️🤍💙

If you would like to recognize a special veteran (living or deceased), please send a photo copy and completed information sheet to Mrs. Sofia in the front office by November 10th. Her email is sdelgado@kaufman-isd.net

📸 Please note: Photos will not be returned as they will become a permanent part of our Wall of Honor.

Honor Their Courage: Supporting Wounded Warriors

As we approach Veterans Day, our students are learning about the bravery and sacrifice of those who have served our country. Through Honor Their Courage, a service-learning opportunity benefiting the Wounded Warrior Project® (WWP), we’re honoring these heroes in a meaningful way.

Students are discovering the history, sacrifices, and realities of military service while raising funds to support wounded warriors and their families.

🎯 Our campus goal: $250
Every dollar raised helps provide lifesaving programs and services that empower injured veterans as they take on their next missions in life.

This Veterans Day, let’s come together to honor courage, celebrate service, and give back to those who have given so much.
