We are so excited to welcome our scholars back today! If you are dropping off your child in the car rider line, please be patient as we work to ensure a safe and smooth arrival for all students.
To support student safety, the car rider line may move a bit slower than usual. We are asking parents to stop at the cafeteria doors rather than pulling all the way down for drop-off. We will have a staff member greet them and help them walk into the cafeteria safely.

After further evaluation, Kaufman ISD will operate on a 2-hour delayed start on Thursday, January 29, due to overnight freezing temperatures impacting area road conditions.
- Secondary start time: 9:40 AM

- Buses will begin their routes 2 hours later than usual

Each day, students are invited to:

- Complete a simple daily kindness challenge
These activities are designed to be meaningful, age-appropriate, and non-disruptive to learning. Participation is optional but highly encouraged!

- Tuesday (Wear Purple): Be kind to your teachers – thank a teacher

📚 100th Day of School – February 4 📚
We will recognize the 100th Day of School on February 4 as a learning milestone. Instruction will continue as normal.
Students will not dress like 100-year-olds or wear costumes. Participation should remain simple and school-appropriate, such as wearing a shirt with the number 100 or school spirit wear.
