Skyward Family Access
Skyward Family Access provides parents access to our student information system for secure access to student schedules, progress reports, grades, discipline, attendance, and food service. A secure web-based application, this “real time” information promotes more effective communication between the district and our parents.
Sign up for Family Access
All parents/legal guardians needing access to Family Access must have a signed waiver on file with Kaufman ISD. Please fill out the Skyward Family Access Waiver and return to Vonda Jones at vjones@kaufman-isd.net. Mrs. Jones will send you credentials once your paperwork is completed. During the summer, email your waiver to Marsha Johnson at mjohnson@kaufman-isd.net.

How do I get access?
All parents/legal guardians wanting access to Family Access must have a signed waiver on file with Kaufman ISD in order to create an account. An active email address is required in order for your Family Access account to be created. Your parent account allows you to view all of your enrolled students at one time. Once the account is establish, it will remain active until your student withdraws or graduates from KISD. For further assistance on completing Family Access Waiver, please contact Vonda Jones through email: vjones@kaufman-isd.net.
Who will be allowed access to my child's information within Family Access?
Student data security is a high priority for KISD. Parent or Guardian #1 and Parent or Guardian #2 will be the only ones given access. Each parent will have their own account username and password. You will be expected to keep your login account information confidential. Do not let others use your login account to access the system.
I have forgotten my password and/or username. How do I resolve this?
You can try to use the "Forgot My Password" link at the login window. If that does not work, please contact Vonda Jones at vjones@kaufman-isd.net.
