Report A Student Absence

Parents are required to submit a note for all student absences. All absence notes must be turned in within five (5) days of the student’s return to school in order to be considered for excusal. For more detailed information regarding attendance policies and procedures, please refer to the Student Handbook.

For the high school campus, the Attendance Clerk is Lauren Quarrington. Please email lquarrington@kaufman-isd.net with any questions or concerns regarding attendance.

Below is the Google Form for submitting Absence Entries. Please follow the directions provided to complete the form accurately and ensure your student’s attendance record is updated in a timely manner.

Attendance Entry Guidelines

When entering attendance, ensure that each section is completed accurately. Verify that the correct type of absence is selected, and confirm that all dates match the information provided on the note(s). Be sure to upload or type the complete note in the designated area so that records remain accurate and up to date.
