District Enrollment

Kaufman ISD welcomes families new and returning to our District. For grades PreK-12, the enrollment process begins by completing online enrollment. You will need a Skyward Family Access account to complete enrollment in Kaufman ISD. To register for an account, visit Skyward Family Access.

Parents of returning KISD students will need to login to their existing Skyward Family Access account and register their child for the new school year.

All students of qualifying age living within the boundaries of the District are eligible for public education in Kaufman ISD. 

New student online enrollment begins July 1, 2024.  New students may enroll anytime during the school year at the campus. All enrollment for Kaufman ISD will need to be completed through your Skyward Family Access account. 

Parents and guardians will need the following documents for enrollment:

Shot Record - Please upload a copy of your child's shot record.

Copy of Transcript - This needs to be the most current transcript available. The last grade completed needs to be on it in order to register for the next grade.

Social Security Card - Please upload a copy of your child's social security card.

Birth Certificate - Please upload a copy of your child's birth certificate.

Proof of Residency - This can be a paid water bill, or proof that electricity has been turned on. It must be something that will prove that you live in Kaufman. Cable and cell phone bills are not accepted.

Parent or Guardian Identification - This can be a valid driver's license or state identification card. Once you have all of these items, you will be asked to upload a copy in Skyward.

Parents and guardians will need the following documents for registering returning students:

Shot Record -  If updated in the last year.
