Attention seniors!

Mark your calendars for picture day!

Guys, your pictures are on Nov. 8th - don't forget to wear a white or light-colored t-shirt and bring your cap, gown, and stole if you don't want to share.

Girls, your picture day is on the 14th, but if you're going to be absent, come down and take your picture on the 8th. Make sure to bring a spaghetti strap or a tube top and your cap, gown, and stole.

Congratulations to the KHS Fishing team of Tyler Burge and Lucas Graham for advancing to the STATE Texas High School Fishing Tournament May 20th-21st on Sam Rayburn Lake.

Congratulations the Kaufman Theatre Company’s UIL One Act Play production of 'Picnic' by William Inge for Advancing to the Area Contest on March 31st at Tyler Junior College! We are so proud of these students and cannot wait to take this show to the next round! GO LIONS! 🎭🦁

The Golden Lion Relays have been moved to Wednesday, March 8th. The field events and 3200M will start at 9am. The running finals will start at 1pm. Follow along for updates, results, and announcements.

After competing at the Kaufman County Livestock Show this weekend, some of our FFA Ag Mechanic students headed to compete in Austin, Texas. Together the team took 6 projects and brought back 6 blue ribbons, x2 2nd in class and a Division Reserve!! We are so proud of the dedication and accomplishments of each of these students. GO LIONS!

Kaufman FFA's Ag Mech Exhibitors had a TREMENDOUS amount of success at the Kaufman County Junior Livestock Show's Ag Mechanics Show this weekend. Kaufman FFA won 3 Divisions: Best Overall Showmanship, Overall Reserve Grand Champion, and Overall Grand Champion. 2023 is the 4th year in a row that Kaufman FFA has brought home ALL THREE buckles on the table! We are so proud of the dedication and accomplishments of each of these students. GO LIONS!

This past week members of the KHS TAFE (Texas Association of Future Educators) attended the 39th Annual Teach Tomorrow Summit at the Kalahari Resort in Round Rock, Texas. There were 276 Schools, 1887 competitive event entries, and 2,965 registered students. KHS members had an OUTSTANDING week with many awards, recognitions, and accomplishments. GO LIONS!

-Jacquline Serrano - Elected as Historian for the State

Last week KHS hosted the Spring Fling Archery Tournament and did OUTSTANDING! Together the Lions placed 1st out of 23 teams! Congratulations to each of these competitors and good luck at State! GO LIONS! 🏹 🦁

KHS Spanish Club members volunteered at 'Feed My Starving Children' in Richardson. Together  students helped pack meals that will be sent to Guatemala. What an AMAZING way to serve others!

Congratulations to Senior Piper Wilburn-McKinney who was selected to play on the Azalea All-Star classic for the West Team. 

This basketball classic will be held on Saturday, April 1st at the Tyler Junior College Wagstaff Gymnasium in Tyler.
