G-Suite Access and Setup

Kaufman ISD offers all students and staff members a free educational suite of applications to enhance teaching and learning. G-Suite is a concept known as “in the cloud” where services and storage are provided over the Internet. These tools support the high levels of collaboration that are required in today’s classroom to prepare students with the communication and collaboration skills they need to be successful in educational settings and the work force.

Your Gmail account information will be provided to you by our human resource department. Please use the information to login to your G-Suite.

Lions 411 is an internal website available to only Kaufman ISD Employees.

Employees must be logged into their school email to access the site.

Talk to your campus tech about having your Shortel Communicator installed.

SET UP AND ACCESS

Press the Voice Mail button on your telephone screen (looks like an old cassette tape at the top right under the day of the week)
Press # for Classic Setup
Enter your password (1234 if you are new or moved locations), followed by #
Press 7 for Mailbox Options
Press 1 to Record your Greeting
- Example Greeting: You've reached the voicemail box of (speak your first and last name), with (speak your school or department name). I am unable to take your call at this time. Please leave your name, telephone number and a message at the tone, and I will return your call.
Press 6 to Record your Name

HOW TO CHECK VOICEMAIL FROM HOME

Dial 972-932-0876
Press the # key when you hear a voice saying thank you for calling.
Enter your extension number
Enter your password followed by #
Follow the prompts
