MORE ABOUT ME:
I've been married for 22 years to my husband, Phillip. We have two sons, Taylor - 19 and Tanner - 16, both KISD students. We've lived in Scurry for the past 21 years. I am a 1984 Graduate of Scurry-Rosser ISD and a 1988 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station. I began my teaching career as a 4th grade teacher at Crandall ISD, but soon married and moved to Scurry where I taught Reading, English, or Math for 10 years. I took a year off when my children were small, but returned to teaching in 2000 here in Kaufman. I worked at Monday Primary as a 1st grade teacher, moved to Nash and taught Math for 5 years, and now I am back to my true love of English here at O.P. Norman. I'm very excited about my position and plan on doing this until my retirement several years down the road.
