MORE ABOUT ME:
I've been married for 18 years to my husband, Phillip. We have two sons, Taylor - 15 and Tanner - 12, both KISD students. We've lived in Scurry for the past 17 years. I am a 1984 Graduate of Scurry-Rosser ISD and a 1988 graduate of Texas A&M University in College Station. I began my teaching career as a 4th grade teacher at Crandall ISD, but soon married and moved to Scurry where I taught Reading, English, or Math for 10 years. I took a year off when my children were small, but returned to teaching in 2000 here in Kaufman. I worked at Monday Primary as a 1st grade teacher, moved to Nash and taught Math for 5 years, and now I will be coming back to my true love of English here at O.P. Norman. I'm very excited about my new position and plan on doing this until my
retirement several years down the road.
