Teaching Philosophy:
Every child is capable of learning and it is my job to find the key to awaken the desire to do so. I am fully aware that most students find history boring and unimportant. So it is part of my job to help them realize that history is everywhere and influences everything we do as a people, state, country and nation. In doing this I will teach them to see past, present and future events, situations and people in a different perspective with more understanding and empathy. This will give them an advantage in the globe market that they will soon enter into, and also allow them to see and achieve their full potential as students at KHS, and as future citizens of Kaufman.
