Twas the Night Before Christmas Program
On Thursday, Dec. 8th our classes will be putting on a production of the beloved Christmas poem “Twas the Night Before Christmas” at 6:00 p.m. Your should of received a note telling you want part your child has in the program and what they should wear. Please have your child dressed and at school by 5;30.
Hat Day
To conclude our study on Letter Hh, on Friday, Janurary 7th your child can wear a Hat of their choice to school!
Polar Express Day
On Thursday, December 15th, we will have Polar Express Day in our class. On this day your child will need to wear their Christmas pajamas and slippers to school as we spend the day on the Polar Express. We will do a book study and compare the book to the movie, have hot chocolate, and lots of fun. We will need some supplies donated for this special event such as hot chocolate, foam cups, and peppermint sticks. If you are able to send one of these items please let your child’s teacher know.
Early Release
We have 2 early release days this month. The fist one is on Thursday, December 1st. On Friday, December 16th, we will release school early for the Christmas break. On both days Kindergarten will dismiss at 1:00pm.
Christmas Party
On Friday , December 16th, your child’s class will have their Christmas party. Look in your child’s folder for more information.
