Profile
I am a graduate of The University of Texas at Tyler with a B.S. in
Interdisciplinary Studies. My Texas certification is in elementary
self-contained, English, history, E.S.L., and special education.
Classroom Mission
The mission of my classroom is to create a student-centered learning environment that guides learners on an adventure for knowledge. Students will be taught to communicate effectively through the mastery of problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. Students will be provided with opportunities to grow academically, emotionally, socially, physically, and culturally, with recognition of individual differences. I will provide a non-threatening and supportive environment where students will be encouraged to set and achieve goals while becoming accountable for their own learning.
