A bit more about me
Born in the beautiful Caribbean island of Trinidad. Trinidad is the southernmost island in the Caribbean chain and sits off the northern coast of South America about 50 miles from Venezuela. I lived here for 15 years then we moved to El Paso. This was a big change for me going from beautiful beaches to a desert. We stayed in El Paso for a year and a half then moved to Richardson. Here I played basketball my junior and senior year and was awarded a scholarship to attend LA Tech. I played one year at Tech then transferred to the University of Central Arkansas. At UCA I continued playing basketball and earned All-Conference honors 2 of my three years there.
After an unfortunate knee injury I moved to Tyler where my parents are now living to recover and pursue my Masters. After 2 years I earned my MBA in the spring of '05 and that summer I started teaching at Norman JH.
Basketball has always been a big part of my life and I look forward to helping kids use basketball and volleyball as a vehicle to a better education.
