Teaching Experience: I am beginning my Ssixteen year of teaching and this is my fourth year at O.P. Norman Junior High.
Education: I received my Bachelor's Degree from Northeastern State University, Tahlequah, OK, in 1993.
Special Olypmics: Students in the Life Skills classes are encouraged to participate in Special Olympics. We will be doing a fund raiser each semester to help with expenses. Kaufman will host a Special Olympics Meet on April 2, 2008. Students are currently practicing bowling in order to get
ready for competition on Oct. 29, 2007.
Aides: Much of the success in the Life Skills classes can be attributed to the dedication and hard work of Ms. Martha Hill and Mr. Dave Booker who work hand-in-hand with Mr. Matthews.
Special Olympics: The month of October is exciting for the kids... they get to go bowling in Terrell for practices .
Then the last week in Ocober we go and compete with other schools in our area for trophies.
