This is my on-line classroom! It is formatted very similar to Facebook. I post links to websites that compliment what we are learning in the classroom. This is a secure site.
Wednesday folders are a yellow folder that go out every Wednesday. Inside you will find graded papers, parent notes, and a conduct sheet. The Conduct Sheet indicates every time that a student breaks a rule and which rule was broken. Students are given a weekly conduct grade. Parents are required to sign the Wednesday folder conduct sheet. If the folder is not returned the next day the student will have to sign the book and will miss 10 minutes of recess.
Newsletters go out every week. The newsletter is just a brief note to the parents to let them know what we are working on for the week. It also gives important information about things happening in the classroom. A superstar is designated each week in the newsletter. The superstar is my assistant for the week!
Homework will be assigned on Mondays and will be due on Friday. We will have a few projects throughout the year.
My conference is from 8:20 to 9:10 daily. I am available during my conference time to meet with parents.
